If the Zi Wei position is known but the Tian Fu group differs from another chart, locate the scope of the error. If every star in the group is shifted, recheck Tian Fu's starting point and the branch-based symmetry rule. If early stars are correct but Po Jun is misplaced, count the empty slots after Qi Sha again.
Write the earthly branch and sequence number for each placement. Compare the complete fourteen-star count and other structural checks before interpreting any palace. If a hand chart is internally consistent but differs from software, compare birth time, calendar, and school settings. A mismatch in displayed transformations is not necessarily a major-star placement error.
