An inward transformation arrow does not establish that money is coming in. An outward arrow does not establish a loss. First identify the chart's legend, originating palace stem and target star.
Inward relative to which palace?
Some transformation traditions distinguish a palace stem acting on its own stars from the opposite palace stem acting on them. A diagram drawn from the starting palace may describe the same relationship differently from one drawn at the receiving palace.
Do not memorize a right-pointing arrow as a universal definition. Position, drawing convention and color legend matter. Translate the symbol into a statement naming the starting stem, target star and transformation.
A chart relationship is not a transaction
Further interpretations differ across schools. These are traditional concepts, not records of money changing hands.
Imagine someone counting an unsigned order as income because of an inward Lu arrow. If the order is canceled, changing the prediction to having gained experience does not confirm the original income claim. Keep the original question and outcome intact.
An outward marker likewise cannot establish the loss of a relationship, position or asset. Read the legend and timing layer before drawing conclusions. An unresolved symbol should remain unresolved rather than becoming a confident forecast.
