But the problem is being too steady: too steady to risk, too steady to seize opportunities, too steady to spend a decade in the comfort zone saying "let’s wait." Tian Fu is the treasury star — full granaries are good, but grain goes stale in storage.
Tian Fu is element Earth, the South Dipper’s leader, ruling reserves, steadiness, and tolerance. It relates to Zi Wei as emperor to treasurer — Zi Wei rules; Tian Fu manages the imperial stores. Tian Fu people don’t always lead, but they’re usually the deputy or steward who actually keeps things running.
Core Traits
First, steady — when the sky falls, you panic last. Second, reliable — your word is bond. Third, reserve-minded — good at saving and resource management. Fourth, conservative — instinctive caution toward the unknown.
You’re the anchor on a team — calm when others panic, thinking of exit routes when others charge. This suits deputy or financial management roles, but can make you hesitate when an all-in is needed.
Suits finance, accounting, administration, logistics, real estate — anything requiring guarding and managing. Not suited to high-risk entrepreneurship unless Po Jun or Qi Sha ignites you.
The Treasury
Tian Fu rules storage. Tian Fu people usually save and accumulate property. But the treasury needs a key. The opposite palace is always Qi Sha; if Qi Sha brings malefics, the treasury gets "opened" — loss.
Tian Fu with Lu Cun is best — full granary, tightly locked. Tian Fu Hua Ke is also good — earning through trust and reputation. With Hua Quan, management authority but more stubbornness.
With Kong Jie: "empty treasury" — looks wealthy but can’t hold money, or money is in others’ hands. With Qing Yang/Tuo Luo: "dark treasury" — money exists but can’t be accessed, like illiquid fixed assets.

Tian Fu always meets Zi Wei in triple combination. Zi Wei creates; Tian Fu preserves. Together they give leadership plus execution — excellent.
