Tai Yang and Wen Chang: Public Speaking Versus Internal Reporting in Zi Wei Dou Shu

Use palace placement to separate audience, evidence, and authority when reading communication work in a Chinese astrology chart.

Tai Yang with Wen Chang is sometimes summarized as “good at speaking.” That label misses the task. A public presentation to customers and an internal report to colleagues need different evidence and different outcomes. The chart can frame visibility and structured communication, but it cannot tell you whether the audience understood.

Locate the audience

Career may point to reporting and management duties; Travel may point to external presentations. Check the stars' relationship and the transformations before drawing a conclusion. A meeting note, question log, or customer response offers better evidence than a talent label.

Make the internal report useful

An engineering lead reporting a two week delay should name the blocked dependency, responsible person, recovery plan, and approval needed. The test is whether colleagues can act on the report and a manager can make a decision. A polished speech without these items does not complete the job.

Rewrite for the public

A product trainer should begin with a user scenario, show the result, and disclose limits and charges. A community project lead should explain construction dates and complaint contacts rather than read a leadership spreadsheet aloud. Check whether the speaker has authority to make promises, then review questions afterward. Read the chart first, adapt the message to the audience second, and improve it from real feedback.
