Before using a “November forecast,” identify its starting date. Calendar November, a month defined by solar terms, and a personal Zi Wei Dou Shu monthly palace need not share a boundary. A date early in November can therefore fall outside a forecast that starts at the next solar term.
Name the calendar in use
A calendar month suits payroll and budgets. A solar-term window begins and ends at the stated terms. A personal monthly palace depends on the chart method, birth details, and the rule used to start the month. Do not treat a published solar-term window as proof that everyone has the same monthly palace.
Compare dated decisions
A job agreement signed on November 5 and a trial beginning on November 10 may fall on opposite sides of a solar-term boundary. A team may also calculate bonuses by calendar month while a person's chart raises a travel question. Write the dates and rule beside each question before comparing them.
Return to the actual task
Read natal, decade, and annual layers before narrowing to a month. For a contract, check version and effective date; for a budget, use the actual accounting period. If a chart app and an article show different monthly positions, check their calculation rules instead of selecting the more appealing forecast.
