Remembering only ‘morning’ or ‘afternoon’ is common. In Zi Wei Dou Shu, a two-hour difference can move the Life Palace and reorder the twelve palaces instead of making a small adjustment.
Resolve the time uncertainty before making detailed claims about marriage, work, or health.
The Life Palace moves first
The birth hour sets the Life Palace. Once it moves, the Body Palace and the positions of Spouse, Career, and Wealth change as well. Main-star combinations and transformation placements must be recalculated.
That is why two nearby hours are not automatically ‘close enough.’
Test against dated events
List education, moves, career turns, relationships, and family duties. Compare which candidate produces the more coherent palace chain.
Rectification is a search for the better-supported chart, not the nicer-sounding one.
Two examples
One candidate may put Life and Wealth in a strong triad, which should be checked against an early money or career pattern. Another may make Travel central, which should be tested against long-term relocation or platform changes.
Practical reading order
Confirm date and time zone, list candidates, compare Life, Travel, Career, and Spouse event lines, and only then read annual details.
Practical Reading Order
Start with the question palace, compare its opposite and trine partners, then add timing and transformations before making a practical judgment.
