Checking a Lunar Birth Date Before Zi Wei Dou Shu Charting

Trace conflicting dates back to the original record and calendar setting.

A family memory of a lunar birthday and a civil birth certificate may appear to disagree. First identify the original record. Then check the lunar year, leap-month marker, location, and whether the chart tool converts dates automatically. A date converted manually and then entered as a Gregorian date can be converted twice. Save each input setting and mark any uncertainty clearly before interpreting the chart.

Distinguish a remembered lunar birthday, a civil record, and a hospital record. Check leap months, midnight rules, time zones, and the software's calendar setting. A chart that feels more familiar is not evidence that the input was correct.
