A year-end bonus creates a different question after the money reaches the bank. Wealth can frame the income path, Property the housing and savings needs, and Wellbeing the value of rest or discretionary spending. These are questions about one real sum, not three separate wallets.
Start with received cash
An announced bonus, a payslip estimate, and a bank deposit are different stages. Use the net amount received. Subtract taxes already due, debts, and fixed bills before planning optional purchases. Hua Lu in Wealth does not add the expected amount a second time.
Compare two households
One person receives a bonus and needs to replace an air conditioner but already has six months of savings. Another receives the same sum while owing expensive debt and next quarter's rent. They need different allocations despite similar income. The chart cannot set one universal percentage.
Use a five-column budget
List cash received, required payments, housing needs, savings goals, and free spending. Set a review date. Read Wealth with Property and Wellbeing, then any relevant time layer, before returning to the household ledger and actual obligations.
