Many people look only for the Tian Ma star to judge movement. In Zi Wei Dou Shu, the Travel palace itself carries movement. When the annual year lands on it, the year tends to involve the outside world: business trips, moving, a new city, a new platform or client, or a change in the work scene.
When the Travel Palace Activates, First See the Type of Move
Movement does not have to mean moving house. For an employee, it may be a post assignment, a cross-department project, or more clients; for a freelancer, it may be platform traffic, remote cooperation or an online market; for a student, it may be advancing to a higher school, an exchange, or leaving the original environment.
Example one: the annual year reaches Travel and the Travel palace holds auspicious stars, so it suits you to step out actively and find a new platform, new clients or a new market.
Example two: the annual year reaches Travel but the palace carries heavy malefic and Ji stars; the move still happens, but the process is prone to friction, such as tiring travel, repeated cooperation, or higher costs away from home.
Read the Wealth Palace to See Whether the Move Pays
Travel activating does not necessarily bring money; it depends on whether the Wealth palace can catch it. Strong Travel and strong Wealth mean income within the movement; strong Travel and weak Wealth may mean only busy, running and draining, with no balance left over.
Example three: with the annual year on Travel, a wealth star in Travel and a decent Wealth palace, the year suits expanding outside clients. If Wealth carries a Hua Ji, watch the payment terms and outgoings.
Read the Career Palace to See Whether Work Drives the Move
If the Career palace is also pulled in, the movement often comes from work: changing post or department, being sent out, or taking on outside projects. If Career carries a Hua Quan, it may also mean greater responsibility, representing the company or team away from the base.
If you are freelancing or running a business, a Travel year also calls for reading the platform rules and where clients come from. When the outside environment changes a lot, do not rush to raise costs; test the channel and watch the payments first, and only then decide whether to invest heavily.
If the natal Travel palace is already strong and the annual year passes through it again, the movement is more obvious. If the natal Travel palace is weak, this year's movement is more like being pushed by the environment, and conservative arrangements come first.

- With the annual year on Travel, do not ask only "will I move."
- The more accurate question is whether the outside environment will change this year.
- Then ask whether the change brings opportunity or drain.
