Travel Palace is often reduced to relocation, but many annual shifts appear earlier than that. A role can become more outward-facing even when the address and client names do not change.
If the city is stable and the customers are familiar, look first for an expansion in external boundary: broader coordination, cross-region responsibility, or a wider cooperation radius.
Separate three layers of Travel Palace activation
Record the first date of each event, who initiated it, whether it became a formal commitment, and what it changed. An interview is not yet a job change. Looking at apartments is not yet a move. A complaint is not yet the end of a relationship.
Classify the events into three roles. The cause first changes the conditions of life. An accompanying event helps the person adapt. A consequence appears after the new conditions have operated for some time. This prevents every stressful moment from being labeled a separate prediction.
Trial roles and short assignments test carrying capacity first
When the annual Life Palace reaches natal Career, role, authority, and organizational demands are more likely to lead. When it reaches natal Travel, outside institutions, relocation, and a different environment are more likely to begin the story. Connected palaces reveal the areas affected by that first movement.
Example 1: A new role begins first, then creates a move and less time with a partner; the Career change is the cause, not three separate turning points. If Hua Quan is already fixed in that natal Career Palace, the first visible event may be more authority and responsibility. Housing and relationship strain should be managed as consequences of the workload.
A changed client or platform mix is a stronger external shift
The Travel Palace concerns what becomes available beyond the familiar setting. A combination led by Zi Wei and Po Jun may receive practical backing from the assistant stars Zuo Fu and You Bi, pointing toward a stronger outside organization. The offer still needs a real contract, reporting structure, and relocation support.
Example 2: An outside assignment and relocation deadline arrive first, followed by a local job change and a new relationship arrangement; movement starts the chain. Work may be transferred to the new city, while the couple decides whether to move together or manage distance. Those are responses to one environmental change.
A real relocation also needs life logistics to line up
Read the Spouse and Fortune palaces together to ask whether the relationship had a long-standing problem before the move. If the tension began with commuting, fatigue, or reduced time, a temporary schedule may solve it. If boundaries were already failing, the external event may only have exposed an older issue.
The ten-year phase describes the wider room for change; the annual cycle narrows the current entry point; the dated timeline confirms what happened first. Address the cause, give the adjustments a trial period, and make the final decision only after the new conditions can be observed.
Practical Reading Order
List changes in role scope, outside contact, cross-region cooperation, and external meetings first. Then read the annual line through Career, Travel, and Wealth to see whether the first movement is boundary expansion rather than a new city or customer base.
