An empty Life Palace borrows main-star context from the opposite Travel Palace. It does not instruct someone to leave their employer. If an internal transfer and an outside offer arrive together, compare the real job terms before turning the chart into a story.

Use the opposite main stars, but also examine helpers in the Life Palace and the Career and Wealth Palaces. A Sun pattern in Travel may raise questions about visibility and external coordination. A Career Hua Ji could instead point you toward approval and delivery boundaries. These are prompts for investigation, not a verdict on either offer.
A product manager may know the team in an internal role but lack a defined target. An outside offer may pay more while requiring independent client delivery within three months. Ask the first team about decision rights and the second about support staff. A designer may find stronger learning opportunities internally despite a higher outside salary for repetitive work.
Verify written duties, the manager, trial period, and the timing of pay. Read the natal chart first and add the annual cycle only for timing. The comparison table, not the empty palace alone, should guide the next negotiation.
