Many readers see a Parents, Spouse, or Friends Palace and assume the event belongs only to someone else. In real life, the other person's movement often creates duties, costs, and decisions that land back on the chart owner.
That is why relationship palaces need a layered reading. One layer describes the other person, one describes the interaction itself, and one describes what the chart owner must now carry.
A people palace names a role before it excludes the self
A favorable star in the Spouse Palace first describes the partner or the marriage. In the Parents Palace, it first describes parents or senior family members. In the Children Palace, it first describes the child and the responsibilities connected with that child.
The star keeps its basic meaning. Wu Qu still points to practical action and resources, while Zi Wei still points to organizing and taking charge. Wu Qu in the Siblings Palace therefore begins with a capable sibling, and Zi Wei in the Spouse Palace begins with a partner who can lead.
State, interaction, and burden belong to different layers
After identifying the family member, read the opposite and supporting palaces to see whether that person's advantage connects with the owner's income, work, or opportunities beyond the familiar environment. This shows how help may arrive; it does not transfer the other person's achievement.
Example 1: Zi Wei with Zuo Fu, You Bi, and Hua Quan in the Spouse Palace first describes a capable partner. Only a connection to Hua Lu in the owner's Wealth Palace supports a discussion of shared financial benefit. Even then, the partner's promotion does not become the owner's promotion.
Relationship movement often returns as your task
Parental funding, a partner's network, or a child's emerging skill may help the owner. Record who supplies the resource, what becomes available, and what obligation accompanies it. This keeps a relationship channel from being confused with personal achievement.
Example 2: Zi Wei, Tian Xiang, and Hua Quan in Parents can describe an authoritative parent, while Wu Qu with Hua Lu in Children assigns financial ability to the child first. Whether either condition becomes useful to the owner depends on timing, relationship quality, and actual exchange.
Separate ownership before making the claim
An appointment letter and a defined decision boundary show who formally holds a position. Account records and legal ownership show who controls money or property, while qualifications and completed work show who has the expertise. Family support becomes concrete when someone actually transfers funds, makes an introduction, or helps repeatedly; affection by itself does not make those resources available.
When a partner or parent creates an opportunity, record the practical help: an introduction, shared expense, temporary funding, or access to a network. Then check whether the owner's Career and Wealth Palaces can use it. Family can open a door without doing the owner's work.
Practical Reading Order
First decide which person the palace describes: the partner in the Spouse Palace, parents or senior family in the Parents Palace, and the child in the Children Palace. Then read Zi Wei, Wu Qu, Hua Ke, Hua Quan, or Hua Lu for that person. Trace any connection to the owner's Career, Wealth, or Travel Palace, and confirm the benefit through appointments, accounts, property, introductions, or actual financial support.
