Di Kong and Di Jie are the most mystical stars. Tradition says they "break wealth" — people with them can’t save, daydream too much, seem impractical. But look closely: many artists, spiritual practitioners, and innovators have them — not because they’re broke, but because they don’t fit in the box.
Di Kong is Yin Fire, ruling spiritual emptiness — inspiration, intuition, transcendence. Di Jie is Yang Fire (some say Wood), ruling material emptiness — loss, change, depletion. They always meet in triple combination. They’re worst in Wealth and Property, but in Life or Mental they can produce unconventional geniuses.
The Difference
Di Kong is spiritual emptiness — natural affinity for mysticism, religion, philosophy, art; strong intuition and inspiration. You may have felt from childhood "I don’t belong here."
Di Jie is material emptiness — money comes and goes, things get lost, plans change. You may have experienced sudden loss, but learned non-attachment through it.
Both together is most pronounced. On the conventional path (saving, mortgage, stable job), they make you miserable; on creative, spiritual, or innovative paths, they’re a gift.
The Truth About "Broken Wealth"
They do rule breaking — in Wealth, money slips; in Property, real estate has twists; in Career, work changes often. But "break" doesn’t mean poor — they break fixed wealth. In "empty" fields (internet, creative, derivatives), you can earn well.
With Hua Lu: "seeking wealth in emptiness" — money from unexpected sources, not salary. With Hua Quan: "power in emptiness" — influence in emerging or virtual fields.
With Hua Ji it’s real loss — bad investments, theft, collapsed plans. Don’t cling; clinging worsens it.
